The Advent Wreath
A candle is burning a flame warm and bright,
A candle of HOPE in December’s dark night
A candle is burning a candle of PEACE
It burns to remind us our conflicts must cease
A candle is burning a candle of JOY
For Jesus our Saviour lives in us now
A candle is burning a candle of LOVE
A candle to point us to heaven above
A candle is burning shedding its light
On all of creation on this Christmas night
For Jesus, Emmanuel has come to our earth,
Our waiting is over, we celebrate His birth
