Eucharist with Pope Francis
On 12 March the Society of Jesus celebrates the 400th anniversary of the canonisations of Ignatius Loyola and Francis Xavier. They were canonised alongside Teresa of Avila, Isidore Labrador (“Isidore the Farmer”) and Philip Neri.
We would like to invite you to join this important event not only because of the deep connection of both our branches with the Ignatian spirituality, but also because it will be an occasion to pray together as one big family, the Mary Ward Family all over the world.
It is very important that we gather and pray as one family, just as our founder Mary Ward dreamed, even more so at this very difficult time in history when we are experiencing a conflict in the centre of the European continent where some of our sister live, that is bringing death and destruction.
